Rodent Proofing

  • Locate and seal all points of rodent entry with construction grade material. Proofing includes but not limited to:

    • Roof coves, roof bonnets, broken roof vents, broken eve vents, voids at gutter lines, corners of gutters meeting siding, flashing along sides of the chimney, flashing lifted at roof exhaust ducts and all other utilities. Voids between the first level roof, gaps above window molding, window ledge, mid-level vents and all other openings found mid and upper roof level.

  • Replace all broken weak or missing vents ground level.

  • Replace all brick veneer vents.

  • Check entire perimeter between siding and foundation.

  • Seal voids where all building materials join together.

  • Check entire crawl space for drain holes.

  • Check for opening that may be under deck from under house or carefully remove boards as needed for access.

Trapping Process

Rats/Mice can be a serious problem. They spread disease, damage property and contaminate food. When dealing with rats and mice inside the premises, you must first reduce the access they have to entering and exiting the home.

Rat removal involves an initial assessment and set-up of the proofing to start the process. Subsequent visits are often necessary and are determined on the activity of the rodents. We will be setting traps throughout each attic access area, as well as the upper storage areas/ kitchen / discretely in the bar and in the small utility closet up front at the entrance. We will return once a week to check traps and dispose of any rodents trapped or dead and set up new traps with fresh bait. This process of trapping typically takes between 4-6weeks to complete. Trapping process vary from case to case.

Sanitation

Sanitization cleaning throughout the areas of entry. Using an EPA-Registered hospital grade sanitizer, deodorizer, that kills 99.9% of viruses and bacteria, Hypochlorous Acid Technology, by Bioesque Solutions.

We will be using a Victory Innovations cordless Electrostatic backpack sprayer, to apply the sanitizer.
